“Perspectivas Emergentes na Produção Cultural Afro-Descendente:Memória, Identidade e Diáspora Global”

Este dossiê convida à submissão de trabalhos que explorem as dinâmicas emergentes na produção cultural afro-descendente em língua portuguesa, inglesa e francesa. Diante do cenário cultural em constante evolução, procuramos investigar as novas perspectivas, abordagens e temas que estão moldando não apenas a literatura, mas todo o património cultural produzido por autores afro-descendentes em várias partes do mundo. Questões relacionadas à identidade, diáspora, experiências culturais, reparação histórica e justiça reparativa bem como as intersecções com género, política e sociedade são temas encorajados. Submissões interdisciplinares que abordem estudos e reflexões afro-descendentes em diálogo com outras expressões culturais também são bem-vindas. Nesse sentido, este dossiê pretende promover uma compreensão mais profunda da construção de uma nova dimensão sociológica afro-descendente no âmbito dos seus contextos contemporâneos.

“Emerging Perspectives on Afro-Descendant Cultural Production: Memory, Identity and Global Diaspora”
This dossier invites the submission of works that explore emerging dynamics in Afro-descendant cultural production in Portuguese, English and French. Faced with the constantly evolving cultural landscape, we seek to investigate the new perspectives, approaches and themes that are shaping not only literature, but the entire cultural heritage produced by Afro-descendant authors in various parts of the world. Issues related to identity, diaspora, cultural experiences, historical reparation and reparative justice as well as intersections with gender, politics and society are encouraged topics. Interdisciplinary submissions that address Afro-descendant studies and reflections in dialogue with other cultural expressions are also welcome. In this sense, this dossier aims to promote a deeper understanding of the construction of a new Afro-descendant sociocultural dimension within their contemporary contexts.
